Mrs. Alyece Averbeck
High School Teacher

Alyece Averbeck is a graduate of West Coast Baptist College with a degree in Secondary Education. She has been teaching at Harvest Baptist Academy since 2010.

In addition to a couple of elementary classes, Alyece teaches junior high English, senior high English, senior high Spanish, Spanish I, and Cultural Spanish. She also works with students one-on-one as our Fine Arts Coordinator.

Alyece volunteers in the church nursery, participates in the choir, and is involved in our church's special music program.

Mr. David Averbeck
Music Teacher

David Averbeck teaches senior high music theory and conducts the handbells choir and middle school and senior high choirs. He also teaches Elementary Music to students in K4 through 6th grade.

David is our Fine Arts Coordinator and also serves as the Music Director for our elementary and senior high plays. He came to Harvest from West Coast Baptist College and serves as our church's Music Director. He also conducts our church choir. A gifted musician and composer, David writes many of the choir and orchestra pieces which are performed. He is also a part of our special music team, playing offertories and singing in many special music ensembles.

Pastor Dominic Cardamone
High School Teacher

Pastor Cardamone is a graduate of Harvest Baptist Academy and West Coast Baptist College with a degree in Pastoral Theology.

This year, Pastor Cardamone is teaching a math class and a Bible class. Pastor Cardamone is our church's Children's Pastor, and he oversees Youth Connection: our Wednesday night program for children age 3 through 6th grade. He is also involved in our special music program and teaches the Singles/College & Career Sunday School class.

Mrs. Alison Connolly
High School Teacher

Ali Connolly is one of our veteran high school teachers. An alumnus of Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, she teaches 8th grade Pre-Algebra, 9th grade Algebra, and 10th grade English here at Harvest.

Ali is the daughter of Pastor Dennis and Kathy Smith. She has a wonderful spirit and is a faithful worker in our nursery ministry.

Pastor Tim Delaney
High School Teacher

Pastor Tim Delaney is a graduate of Shawnee Baptist College with a degree in Pastoral Theology. He teaches the 7th - 8th grade Bible class.

In addition to serving as our church's Youth Pastor, Bro. Delaney is our Athletic Director and also serves as our basketball coach. He is the sponsor of the Valley High School, Freeport High School, and Leechburg High School Bible Clubs.

Pastor Delaney oversees our Bus Ministry and our Nursing Home Ministry. He also teaches the Senior High Sunday School class.

Mr. Steve Hilles
High School Teacher

Steve Hilles is a graduate of Fairhaven Baptist College with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education. Besides his work in the church office as our Financial Administrator, Steve teaches 9th grade English and Pre-Calculus at the Academy.

Bro. Hilles ushers for church services; furthermore, he also oversees our church's Discipleship program.

Mrs. Erin Niehenke
High School Teacher

Erin Niehenke is a graduate of Grove City College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

She teaches physical science, biology, chemistry, algebra II, and computer this year at Harvest.

A gifted musician, Erin participates in our church orchestra and offers flute lessons. She provides tremendous support on our Academy's drama set design team.

Pastor Charlie Rousey
High School Teacher

Pastor Charlie Rousey is a graduate of Bible College and is the Administrator of Harvest Baptist Academy. Currently, Pastor Rousey teaches 7th-8th grade science, 7th grade computer class, and our high school consumer math course.

Pastor Rousey teaches the Cornerstone (adult Sunday School) Class which meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in the Cafeteria.

Mr. Nathaniel Skelly
High School Teacher

Nathaniel Skelly is a graduate of West Coast Baptist College with a degree in Secondary Education. This year he teaches 7th - 8th grade history, 9th grade geography, 10th grade history class and Bible class, 11th - 12th grade history, and geometry.

Nathaniel serves as our assistant basketball coach and is involved in our church's discipleship program, silent servants ministry, as well as Junior Church.
