Academy - High School Staff

Mrs. Alyece Averbeck
High School Teacher

Alyece Averbeck is a graduate of West Coast Baptist College and has been teaching at Harvest Baptist Academy since 2010.

In addition to a couple of elementary classes, Alyece teaches 7th-8th grade English, 9th-10th grade Speech, 10th-12th grade Spanish, and also imparts her zeal for the arts by working with students one-on-one as our Fine Arts Coordinator.

Alyece is involved in our church's special music program, and her husband David is our church's Music Director. We are so thrilled to have them on
our team!

Mr. David Averbeck
Music Teacher

David Averbeck is a graduate of West Coast Baptist College and is a new member of the teaching staff here at Harvest Baptist Academy.

Teaching a 7th-8th grade Music Theory class, David also is our school's choir director and hand bell conductor. He also teaches voice and piano at the Academy.

David is our church's Music Director and often composes pieces for our choir and orchestra to perform. We are very thankful for David's great spirit and his desire to honor God with his music.

Pastor Dominic Cardamone
High School Teacher

Pastor Cardamone is a graduate of Harvest Baptist Academy and West Coast Baptist College and is a tremendous addition to our Academy's staff.

Besides teaching a 6th grade Math class, he instructs 7th-8th grade Science, 7th-9th grade Bible, 9th-10th grade Geography, 11th-12th grade History, and 12th grade Consumer Math. Pastor Cardamone is our church's Children's Pastor, and he oversees Youth Connection: our Wednesday night program for children age 3 through 6th grade. He is also involved in our special music program.

Mrs. Alison Connolly
High School Teacher

Ali Connolly is one of our veteran high school teachers. An alumnus of Penn State University, she teaches 9th-10th and 11th-12th grade English as well as a Pre-Algebra class with a creative passion for her subjects.

Ali is the daughter of Pastor Dennis and Kathy Smith. She has a wonderful spirit and is a faithful worker in our nursery ministry.

Pastor Tim Delaney
 Pastor Tim Delaney
High School Teacher

Pastor Tim Delaney is a graduate of Shawnee Baptist College. He teaches 10th-12th grade Bible and oversees our senior high physical education class as well.

In addition to serving as our church's Youth Pastor, Bro. Delaney is our Boys Basketball Coach and is the sponsor of the Valley High School and Leechburg High School Bible Clubs.

Mr. Steve Hilles
High School Teacher

Steve Hilles is a graduate of Fairhaven Baptist College. Besides his work in the church office as our Financial Administrator, Steve teaches 7th grade Math and 12th grade Pre-Calculus at the Academy.

Bro. Hilles ushers for church services; furthermore, he also oversees our church's Discipleship program.

Mrs. Erin Niehenke
 Mrs. Erin Niehenke
High School Teacher

Erin Niehenke is a graduate of Grove City College and is a wonderful addition to our Academy staff. Erin teaches 9th-10th grade Science, 9th and 11th grade Computers, 10th-11th grade Algebra II, and 11th-12th grade Physics. Erin is very talented in art as well as photography and she teaches an art class at the Academy.

Erin participates in our church orchestra and provides tremendous support on our Academy's drama set design team.

Pastor Charlie Rousey
High School Teacher

Pastor Charlie Rousey is a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College and is the Administrator of Harvest Baptist Academy. Currently, Pastor Rousey teaches 7th-8th grade History, 9th grade Algebra I, and 11th-12th grade College Board Prep classes.

Pastor Rousey is our Academy's football head coach, and he teaches the Cornerstone (adult Sunday School) Class which meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in the Cafeteria.
